Art Prints & Unique Art and Vintage Image Pendants

Okay, I can honestly and truthfully say that I am addicted to pendants! *holds up right hand* Yup, I find them to be simply stunning, and also so versatile! The best part about pendants is that you can have one or two lovely chains, and then just swap out the pendants to go with whatever item of clothing you happen to be wearing that day! :D Fabulous!

Art by MAR shows a great love for her work, just take a minute to read her profile. Here is a little excerpt that I liked best...

I mainly use my artwork and vintage images from my vast personal collection to create my wood pendants. I love making art and history into little pieces of wearable art.

The way she speaks about her work makes me want to be the one to wear it. Who doesn't want to wear a little piece of lovingly preserved history around their neck? And her pendants are all so pretty!

Featured in the title picture is her Strawberry Heart Art Pendant. This pendant is my most favorite in her shop! Why you ask? Well anyone who has been reading my features knows that I simply love hearts! And a heart turned into a strawberry? Well what could be better :). I love the sweet juiciness this pendant exudes! I really want to eat it up! (Strawberry Heart, $12.00)

Next I give you the owner's favorite piece, Cat on the Piano Keys! Featuring an adorable little vintage image of a white kitty on piano keys, I think this pendant is just adorable! It is the owner, Margie's favorite because:

This is my favorite because I love black and white images plus the image is from old sheet music. My Mother and Grandmother both played the piano and I have stacks of old sheet music. Plus we have a "part-time" white cat so the pendant has personal meaning for me.

I can see the love that was put into this pendant. The best work, I believe, comes from artists who put their personal feelings and emotions into their art! (Cat on the Piano Keys, $12.00)

Pausing here to say that Margie's pendants are not only fantastic, but also so well priced! For handmade loveliness such as this, I would pay much more than $12.00. Still, the fact that her pendants are so sweet and so well priced makes this shop a pendant lovers paradise!

Lastly, I leave you with this lovely art pendant titled Purple Abstract. This is an art pendant because it features a purple, pink, and mint green abstract design straight from Margie's computer graphics! I think what draws me to this pendant is the colors. The gorgeous melding of the deep purple with the lighter pink and green make this a pendant to remember! I believe wearing this around your neck would definitely start conversations! I asked Margie what she is working on now, and I end this feature with her own words.

I am always searching for new images for my pendants. Right now I am also working on some new necklaces which will have more of a vintage look to them. I am in the process of creating the first one with my new bails and chains and am excited to complete and list it in my shop.
